Mexican footwear and textile fabrics exhibition

Mexico's Footwear and Textiles Exhibition INTERMODA is the largest textile and apparel exhibition in South America and Mexico in Mexico. It is held twice a year and hosted by the Mexican International Fashion Group and has been successfully held for 30 years. With the support of the international and domestic, the exhibition is getting bigger and bigger, and the reputation is constantly improving. Now it has developed into a professional, free and unique trade event in the textile and garment manufacturing industry.

As a trade bridge between South and North America, Mexico has a relatively high degree of economic openness and has established trade relations with more than 200 countries and regions in the world. The United States has a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). According to the NAFTA regulations, the United States has lifted quota restrictions on textiles and clothing imported from Mexico since January 1, 1994, and has granted a series of tariff concessions. At the same time, Mexico's consumer market in South America, with a population of 1.4 billion, is an important way for companies to develop the South American market. Most South American countries such as Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Colombia and the United States have signed “free trade agreements”, so the market for apparel fabrics and accessories in South America is huge. This exhibition is an important channel for entering the South American market and expanding the US market.
